Quentin Tarrintino, uses Appropriation in almost every piece of work he has ever produced. In KillBill, he basically stole every scene from a film that was done before in mainland japan based on karate, or any kind of martial arts. The Yellow jumpsuit, which is now quite symbolic in itself, was taken from Bruce Lee. The film also contains references to many western and italian film, including The Good, The Bad and the Ugly and Once Apon a Time in the West. He references, borrows/Samples from many different anime and TV shows. These include The Green Hornet (The Bad guys, the 'Crazy 66s' who wear Kato masks), Superman Comics, and even Charlie Brown comics (With a character even being called Charlie Brown.) The names of the main 'bad-guys' are taken directly from a comic book, called Captin-America.
